Malaysian Earth Tiger Tarantula

Scientific name : Cyriopagopus schiodtei
Common name : Malaysian Earth Tiger
Origin : Malaysia
Temperament : Skittish/defensive
Maximum size: A little over 7 inches legspan

I have 2 big females of this species. They're from my country but it's not readily available here.

I consider them as an semi-arboreal species. They do grow big and stocky.

Stromatopelma calceatum

Scientific name : Stromatopelma calceata griseipes
Common name : Feather leg baboon
Origin : West Africa
Temperament : Angry little buggers
Maximum size: A little over 7 inches legspan

This species is relative new in the market. They are fast, very defensive and have a potent venom.
They are a fast growing tarantula . I got a 2inches sling early 2008 and it is about 5.5 inches legspan now. This species is meant for experienced keepers and I advice beginners not to even think of getting one.
